There are other ways that you can be romantic, like learning a few phrases in her native language. To do this, make sure you ask what language she speaks at home. While the Tagalog-heavy Filipino is the official language in the Philippines, there are other major languages in the Philippines that are widely-spoken including Bicol, Cebuano, Hiligaynon, Ilocano, Kapampangan, Kinaray-a, Maguindanao, Maranao, Pangasinan, Surigaonon, Tausug, Waray and Chavacano.

It’s enough to learn a few phrases in any of these language. Just do a Google search and you will most likely find romantic phrases in her native language. If you can’t find any, then at the very least learn a few Tagalog phrases like Mahal kita which means I love you or Miss na miss kita which means I miss you when translated.
