Necrosis

Aside from scarring and nerve damage, the skin may also undergo necrosis. Such condition refers to the skin that has died due to severe damage or infection. Patients who are long-time smokers are greater risk of necrosis, because the oxygen supply in their body is less compared with non-smokers.

Death
